At Hudson Clearwater There’s Pressed Juice On The Brunch Menu And A Pretty Patio

There are just so many reasons why we will likely be making Hudson Clearwater our go-to brunch spot in the city this summer. The first thing to lure us to the West side is the pressed juice on the menu. Some people like bacon and eggs when they’re H.O. to the max, but we actually prefer a pressed juice to bring us back to normal. And they’re all made to order! We did this kale, lemon and ginger combo that was intense but definitely woke us up faster than a large latte. Then there’s the patio out back. A classic pretty New York City patio, and there’s steps to the basement level so you don’t have to walk the whole way through the restaurant to use the bathroom. It’s a small thing, but a significant one in our book. Thirdly, we should mention the owners that hang out there are all so tanned and attractive you’re probably going to want to keep ordering those bloody mary’s or what have you. Pressed juice aside, the food is amazing from Crab Monsieur to a smoked salmon dish using Russ & Daughters lox, and a sick Southern element including biscuits and gravy and beignets. Afterwards you can walk the whole lot off on the Westside waterfront, or just waddle on home to watch Sunday night telly. See you there this weekend?
