Just when you thought sneaker collaborations couldn’t possibly show any real innovation, Maison Martin Margiela goes and proves everyone wrong. This happy surprise comes in the form of the French fashion house’s new project with Converse. What they did was cover the sneaker entirely in white paint, and we mean entirely. We are talking the eyelets, soles, laces… the whole bit. The paint then cracks to gradually reveal the original color beneath which can be red, black, navy and a Margiela-exclusive vintage yellow. So getting a pair.
