It’s just one thing after another with colored hair, isn’t it? If it’s not headphones causing it to break, the color fades at a rate of knots during the summer months. And can we discuss the dryness? Insane dryness. Apparently, this Aveda After-Sun Hair Masque was created specifically for such sun-traumatized hair, so were cautiously optimistic that it would help a small bit. We were not prepared for exactly how amazing this stuff is. After a few hours on the deck in Montauk we gave it a go. It’s just like a regular conditioner, you use it after shampooing and leave it in for two-five minutes and rinse. When your hair dries, it dries super-sleek and silky-smooth. It’s so good we started telling our friends about it, like, at dinner and stuff.
It contains morikue™ protein to help restore weakened hair, tamanu oil, certified organic shea butter, coconut and palm oils to moisturize hair and an anti-oxidizing blend of green tea extract, certified organic sunflower seed oil and vitamin E which help protect against free radicals. Well, whatever is in it, it’s working.
