New Perfume Store Nose Is A Must-Visit Next Time You’re In Paris

French people definitely have a thing for fragrance, don’t they? Real talk though, from soap to perfume… the French really do love a good fragrance. Expert noses. Which is why we’re super-excited that a group of international perfume industry founders have banded together to create a sick new store in Paris’ 2nd arrondissement. The airy space is sandwiched between Kenzo at Places des Victoires and rue Montorgueil, and suffice to say it’s a must-do on your next Parisian visit. Seven scent lovers — including Nicolas Cloutier, Mark Buxton (creator of the first Comme Des Garçons’ fragrance) renowned Italian nose Silvio Levi and Romano Ricci (founder of Byrne Notice favorite Juliette Has A Gun) — opened Nose, the chic apothecary-esqe space, which is equal parts experience and store. Take a seat at the fragrance bar, have a coffee, answer a few Qs: What do you expect from a perfume? What is your olfactive history? What are your favorite smells and why? You’re then prescribed the scents most suited to your taste from a selection of brands including Diptyque, Biehl Parfumkunstwerke, By Kilian, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Cale Fragranze d’Autore, Creed, Odin, Miller Harris and Juliette Has A Gun (natch). There are products from Ren, Acqua Di Parma, Kevin Murphy, Cowshed and Codage and fragrance for your apartment from Cire Trudon, The Laundress, Carrière Frère and Linari. No trip to Paris planned soon? Chill. You can do everything online (except visit the garden in the basement, unfortch)
