In order to launch a denim line in this day and age, one would have to be pretty certain that one could do denim better than anyone. By now, most people have their favorite denim. A brand they trust. Their go-to brand for jeans, if you will. If this is you, we get it! Believe us, we know how hard it is to find the right jeans for you and when you do, you stick with it. However, there’s a new line for fall 2013 that we urge you to check out. D-ID is heavily inspired by grunge, with a sophisticated twist. Creative director Jimmy Taverniti took east coast edge, west coast ease and Parisian refinement to create this premium line and was very successful in melding the influence of the three cultures. We’re not normally fans of anything beyond the simplest denim styles, but the black quilted denim of D-ID appealed to our better nature and the boyfriend style is cut to perfection with its loose (but not baggy) silhouette and three length options. Ours got a bunch of compliments, so no further validation needed.
