New York Florist Pastoral Creates Wonderfully Uncontrived, Tastefully Loose Arrangements

It was at our friend French Matthew’s birthday in March that we discovered the truly wonderful arrangements of Pastoral. Owner and designer Audrey Stipanovich developed a love for flowers thanks to her British ‘garden-obsessed’ mother and after working in fashion for over ten years (with designer Bernhard Willhelm and photographer/director Stephane Sednaoui), she headed down the gorgeous (garden) path of flowers.

Audrey uses film, paintings and literature as her inspiration, with each of her classic arrangements named for her favorite movies. There’s an uncontrived, tastefully loose element to the arrangements, no tight-and-white bridal balls here. She does events, individual bouquet orders and will occasionally set up shop at Hester Street Fair. Her next stall moment at the fair is Mother’s Day (May 11). Get there early though, these arrangements will be snapped up. Real talk.
