The Poppin Furniture Collection Basically Means You’ll Never Want To Leave Work

Workplaces have come a long way in the past few decades. Office furniture was once functional but fug, so workers couldn’t wait to get out of that cubicle hell. Then the whole Silicon Valley thing happened and tech companies started to try to figure out ways to keep their people happy at work. Such tricks included, but were not limited to, free snacks in the kitchen, ping-pong tables, uh, Segways to get around the office and other such cringe-tastic moves. It was all very late 90’s/early 2000s. These days free snacks are practically a given, and if you don’t have a ping-pong table, well, you’re just not doing it right.

The new way to keep everyone chill at work is to make it really, really pretty and homey. Instead of an entire floor of cubicles, companies have chill zones for employees. You walk into any modern business and there’s basically several living rooms with comfy couches and employees lounging. You wonder, are they working or hanging out? Usually a mix of both.

Poppin’s new furniture collection is very chill-friendly. The open- ended sofas feel very inviting and all pieces are modular, so designed to work together or separately. They’re not so squashy that you’ll fall asleep while working, however you’re lying to yourself if you don’t instantly think about how you could totally nap on that.

One of our favorite pieces is the sliding door locker with the cushion atop. When work pals stop by to chat work, you pull it out the locker from beneath your desk and that’s their seat right there. Also, the design is super-clean and minimal, which really helps keep your mind fresh and uncluttered. Check out some of the pieces below. Everything is available at
