We don’t know about you, but sometimes trying to find a simple, classic piece of furniture at an affordable rate can be… trying. Your choices often are limited to something best suited to your grandmother’s home or something ultramodern that gives serious Miami-bachelor-pad shade… and when you do find something just chic enough, you find yourself wondering should you forgo eating this month just to have it? Pottery Barn Teen is really not that teeny, to be honest. Yes there are beanbags and surfboards, but when you strip away all the polka dots and pom-poms, this is really a super place to pick up classic, simple and chic pieces. The scale is perfect for apartment living, and the pieces draw from current trends in décor and fashion without being too literal. The vintage floor lamp brings a slightly industrial look without being overly distressed, and the small-scale alphabet needle point pillows are adorable on smaller chairs. We used both in our own home, so naturally we think they are great, but they get so many compliments we felt it only right that you should know about them too.
