Rachel Antonoff’s Fall 2014 Video Is Beautiful, Smart And Funny— Just Like The Girls Who Wear Her Clothes

Rachel1Damn, we love us some Rachel Antonoff. Not only are her clothes the epitome of a twenty-something Brooklyn creative, everything that goes along with them is unfailingly awesome, from her fashion week presentations to her look books.

While many brands make videos to showcase collections—to bring something extra, to put the clothes in context as such—not all brands do it well. In fact, very few do. A beautiful video to show your collection is well and good, but the number one objective should be to show the clothes being worn. Clearly. Not in a black and white, ethereal dreamland. These videos should make you want to wear the clothes and give you a sense of how they move, how they fit and show details you can’t always get across in a flat look book.

Not only does Rachel Antonoff do this, she shows her line being tried on and worn by women of all shapes and sizes and she does so with an amazing wit. The ‘talking’ collars, the lolz simultaneous drinking/peeing, the ice-pack on the ankle… so good. She’s so good. And her clothes are, too. Obvs.
