We like to think of ourselves as experts of the salted caramel experience. Sometimes a chocolate is too bitter, or there’s not enough salt. Sometimes it’s just not quite as amazing as it should be. Talenti Gelato though, is very much as amazing as it should be. Based on Argentine helado- gelato brought to Argentina by Italian immigrants in the early 20th century – this is artisanal in vibe but you can find it at the better bodegas, as well as major chains.
The Sea Salt Caramel is composed of a golden Argentine caramel base, with Fleur De Sel sea salt and, wait for this… chocolate covered sea salt caramel truffles are scattered throughout. We are fans of the reusable screw-top pot – although hoarding too many of these blatantly shows what salted caramel addicts we really are.
