Talk Clean To Me: The Laundress Flagship Store Is Beyond Gorgeous

We’ve been fans of The Laundress for a very, very long time. Introduced to us several years ago by a stylist friend, we admired the traditional labels on the packaging that looked so chic on display in the laundry room of her 1930s West Hollywood cottage. Fast forward several years and the brand has grown so much that it’s just opened its own flagship store in Soho, and it’s well worth a visit.

Why would you want to visit a laundry store? For a start, you probably need some cashmere detergent or maybe just a super effective eco stain remover? Or maybe, like us, fresh laundry is your kryptonite? We’ve used the Signature Detergent for a while now, and on special occasions we’ll throw in some of the beautiful Laundress x Le Labo Rose 31 detergent which fills our whole house with the glorious scent of garden roses.

It’s not just laundry supplies though; you can also get home cleaning products too, all eco friendly of course. The store itself is beautifully designed by the brand’s co-founders Gwen Whiting and Lindsey Boyd, with the help of their former colleagues at Ralph Lauren Ellen O’Neill and John Hulka and you can tell they’ve worked with some of the world’s top luxury brands. Together, they came up with a light and white space that also includes a dream laundry room and has the feel of an old-style general store. So beautiful! Check out the pics below.
