The Cleveland Is The Sick New Nolita Restaurant Set Be A Summer Favorite With Its Huge Outdoor Dining Patio

We like to think of ourselves as a recommendations site. What jeans really fit the best? Do you know any cute interiors stores? And, an all-time classic from our New York pals: Where shall I go to dinner tonight? Since we hosted a dinner with G.H. Bass recently at newly-opened restaurant The Cleveland, we have recommended this place verbally to several pals and now we are recommending it to you, internet pals. The dining room is intimate, but believe us that is not code for ‘cramped’. In fact, it feels very spacious. The stripped back décor du jour lends itself perfectly to the pan-Mediterranean menu featuring current food trends (kale, salted caramel desserts etc.) and some atypical ideas such as a fragrant lemon-vanilla poached cod with charred eggplant, Lebanese cous cous (it’s practically the size of chickpeas) with a spicy red pepper puree which was the talk of our table. Here’s the best part: there’s a huge patio out back and we just cannot wait for summer because that is basically where you will find us every night come May, eating kale and salted caramel gelato.
