Wait, What?? The Marie Kondo De-Cluttering Book Is Being Made Into A Sitcom

For some reason this doesn’t surprise us one little bit: The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing is going to be a sitcom on NBC.

How on earth can a de-cluttering book (aka our bible) be made into a LOLZ TV show? Well, the plot revolves around a young woman whose life is in a mess so she tries to get it in order, we’re assuming, by beginning with a gigantic purge of her belongings.

The extreme tidiness Kondo advocates in the book may seem like borderline comedy to some people anyway, but the actuality is that it does work, and this is why it’s already sold three million copies and is still practically at the top of the New York Times bestseller list. Your dreams of having a closet as tidy as those in The Container Store catalog will indeed be a reality.

If you haven’t already read it, buy it now at BarnesandNoble.com
