There’s A Kraftwerk Retrospective Coming To MoMA. Werk!

MoMA’s Klaus Biesenbach brings us man to machine this spring with Kraftwerk–Retrospective 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, a time-based series of live performances by the seminal electronic band in the museum’s Marron Atrium. Kraftwerk’s remarkable oeuvre, which spans four decades, is even more relevant today in a society relentlessly confronted with technology. Ambient sound, robots, video and signature, logo-like still imagery combine to form an integrated art experience on eight consecutive nights. We’ll be there, and while we’re at it, we’ll thank them for Radiohead, New Order, Kanye West, Blondes, the Marie Antoinette soundtrack, and especially for Daft Punk.

Save us seats for our favorite, the temperamental, dreamy Autobahn.

Tickets available starting February 22 at noon, only at Showclix.com
