There’s A New Exhibition Of Dreamy Watercolors By Fahren Feingold At The Amazing Fleur Du Mal Peep Show Gallery
If you’ve stopped by the Fleur du Mal store on Mott Street recently, you will have noticed a narrow space with a neon Peep Show sign at the entry. Should you venture through the archway, you will find one of New York’s most diminutive galleries, the home of a brand new exhibition by Fahren Feingold.
Presented by luxury lingerie and ready-to-wear brand Fleur du Mal in collaboration with The Untitled Space, Feingold created a series of dreamy watercolors, featuring her signature themes inspired by early 20th century French erotica, vintage girlie magazines from the 70s and 80s and the somewhat more current Internet girls.
It couldn’t be a more perfect collaboration, given Fleur du Mal’s sophisticated intimates and sensual clothing styles. The brand’s style is perfectly reflected in the décor of the store, where spicy black walls are punctuated with disco balls, neon and rock & roll vinyl.
Check out some of what’s on view in the slideshow below. Main image entitled Love Playground, 2018. Come for the exhibition, stay for the shopping!
The exhibition runs until July 8th at 175 Mott Street, New York
