This Furniture Designed For Laptop Users Is Long Overdue

This seating concept is so necessary, it’s kind of a miracle it hasn’t been done before, but isn’t that always the way? Tech companies have long been known for their ‘casual vibes’ atmosphere,  from foozeball conference rooms to a lot of apparent lounging around a.k.a. just being comfy while you work. As a result, he traditional desk and chair model is being phased out, and the laptop and lounge is increasingly popular among non-tech companies, too. With this in mind, The Good Mod furniture company designed a mid-century-esque range specifically for laptops. The seating came about when Air BnB needed some custom pieces for its offices, and now it’s available for anyone to order.

The seats are angled so that your laptop sits perfectly atop your legs, and they work even better when your feet are resting on a low table. But aren’t feet on tables bad manners? Yes, which is why The Good Mod built in ledges specifically for feet, in various heights. Pure genius, if you ask us.

Chairs are $1,250 and made to order at TheGoodMod.com
