This Geometric Tabletop Collection By Scholten & Baijings Is Totes On Trend

Geometrics are still a thing guys, but the new tabletop collection by Dutch design duo Scholten & Baijings was actually way ahead of the curve (or should that be ‘angle’?). See, although the Pattern collection is new, it’s based on Grid, a textile created way back in 2014 by Scholten & Baijings for Maharam.

Produced by 1616/Arita Japan, the five-piece porcelain set is accompanied by a tray collection, $120, featuring the Blocks pattern. The set comes with a small and large plate, bowl, cup and mug, each of which is available separately. The small handleless cup, $33, is particularly cool.

If you’re not a geometrics fan you will likely hate the entire collection, but if you are, it’s essentially sent from heaven.

A yellow and grey geometric combo is so gorgeously 80’s.

You can get little cups without handles, or a larger mug, whatever floats your boat.

This might look like a tray, but it’s actually a plate.
