What My Mini Bar Says About Me – The Shore Club

It’s the little things that count when you check into a hotel — and the littlest of those things can usually be found in the mini bar. This mini bar can say SO much about a hotel and the guests that frequent it. While we are never mad at a packet of M&Ms, we do love a snoop around the extras. The Shore Club in Miami’s South Beach has a whole basket of stuff so you could legit check in here without so much as a toothbrush and just charge your entire existence to this basket. It’s on the beach so there are bikinis and swim trunks by T-Box, it’s a fun hotel so there are headache remedies and intimacy kits, and it’s a party hotel (we repeat ‘fun’) so there’s make-up remover, moisturizer and even eye cream, PLUS you don’t have to do the walk of shame back to your own hotel in your Hervé Leger bandage dress because there are tank tops, drawstring pants and flip-flops in there. There’s even a tote bag in the closet, you know, so you don’t have to walk through the lobby looking like a two-bit ho’ with your heels in one hand and a balled up dress in the other. Is it cheap? No. This isn’t the Ho Jo people, it’s the Shore Club. Fun is at a premium here, we’ll have you know.
