We are like, totally obsessed with Flatforms. No, not the questionable footwear; we are talking about the 2D art by L. Michelle Reneau and Kristin Eddington. Inspired by the most-inspiring runway looks from the likes of Commes des Garçon, Maison Martin Margiela, Gareth Pugh and more, each piece is created using the same kind of fabric used by the designer for the real-life garments. The work takes hours to complete, many times via painstaking application using tweezers. The girls were commissioned to create a pair of miniature Valentino looks for Barneys based on the Fall 2014 collection and if these are anything to go by, we see many more commissions to come. Each piece is an original and comes framed. Dunno about you, but we would cut a bitch to own the Commes ones.
