You Probably Need This American Apparel L’Epicier Suede Tote

Our basic life needs are food, water, shelter and a good tote bag. We have any amount of tote bags stuffed in a drawer in our apartment, and each one gets relatively decent rotation but we really don’t have a go to tote. An old reliable. An unassuming, simple bag to stuff in our suitcase for traveling, or to grab from the drawer when we’re taking champagne and cupcakes to a party. Well, we’ve discovered that go to. Our friend Nicky (a commercial airline pilot) introduced us to this suede American Apparel tote. She calls it her ‘New York bag’ since she throws it in her carry on for her weekly overnight trips from Dublin. We were highly impressed at the quality of the squashy, soft suede and the subtle (functional) gold studs at the straps. It’s deceptively roomy too. You can take this out for evening and it doesn’t look as though you’re lugging around a shopper. It’s slim, sleek and for those who do that flats-to-heels costume change after work, it’s a dream come true. The bag comes in regular leather as well, plus you can get it in a bazillion solid colors as well as two-tone color ways. Lastly, it’s under a hundred bucks and we are definitely not mad at that.
