Why Shortalls Are A Necessary Wardrobe Addition This Summer

You may not have bought into the whole overalls thing, but if you didn’t, you missed out. The best part about overalls is the eating. You can eat what you like, pasta, pizza, ice-cream and no one can ever tell. Now it’s summer we would like to continue on the ice-cream train if at all possible. At least occasionally. And when we do inhale that gigantic sundae, we want to be able to hide that bloated evidence. This is where shortalls come in. Sure, when you Google shortalls, outfits that are more suited to Prince George show up in the results, but Prince George happens to be quite the style icon these days. Hello, his lil’ sailor boy look is totally our jam.

In any case, the best shortalls we’ve found are the Paulette shortalls by Guess. The wash is perfectly vintage and the fit is such that you won’t get diaper butt. They’re cut pretty wide at the apron and back, which is a positive in terms of concealment. No one needs to see the ol’ hips poking out either side of your shortall apron, are we right?
